This might be a lower-level bug - if that's the case please let me know where to file it.

When restoring an image file onto a device, I can still see the previous volumes as available for mounting. I did not try to mount them, it's somewhat scary to do so...

The old volumes should become unavailable and the device refreshed after the image is restored.
