Description davide Marchi 2015-06-21 22:03:59 UTC
Hi friends,

I'm using Seamonkey 2.33.1 and Evince 3.12.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 and Gnome shell 3.12.2

If I try to open a web link on a pdf document, obtain an error:

Unable to open external link.
Execute child process "/opt/mozilla/seamonkey" failed (Permission denied)

This the Seamonkey permission:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root

I've set as default web browser Seamonkey on Gnome preferences.

many thanks

I think this is a bug in ubuntu, not evince. Most probably evince is being blocked by app armor.

Closing as NOTGNOME as per last comment.
