copy a part of image makes Gimp crash. 

1. select part of image
2. use cmd-c or menu copy or copy visible 
3. crash

crash is not always, but after a while. 
after first crash Gimp restart 
than Gimp will crash with first copy.

could be same problem as bug 743717.
gimp using memory in some place to copy or cut? Overload?

There is no problem whatsoever with cut/copy on any other platform, this
is most likely the same bug.
