Description freggy1 2015-06-16 13:29:25 UTC
Since upgrading Evolution 3.12.11 to version 3.16.3, Evolution does not insert a newline between the e-mail address and company any more.

The autogenerated signature looked like this in 3.12:
--
Firstname Lastname <email@example.com>
Company

Now it looks like this:
--
Firstname Lastname <email@example.com> Company

This happens when writing e-mails in plain text format. If I switch to HTML format first, and only then switch on the autogenerated signature, the newline is correctly inserted.

Thanks for a bug report. The auto-generated signatures are in HTML, where happened a mistake in the conversion from HTML to plain text of it.
