Description Balamurali Viswanathan 2002-03-17 12:00:33 UTC
When I click on the find icon it gives me a window to enter the
search string for the first time. The next time when I click the
find icon it is not giving me the window to enter the search string,
instead it is trying to find the next match for the previous search string.
Control keys are not working
Comment 1 Paolo Maggi 2002-03-17 13:43:02 UTC
IMO, this is not a bug.

Control keys are not working: is this a gedit specific problem?
Does the control keys work in other gnome2 apps?
Comment 2 Balamurali Viswanathan 2002-03-18 11:16:36 UTC
Control keys may not work for other apps also, But the find icon
is not working here properly it is trying to do a find next,
instead of find
Comment 3 Paolo Maggi 2002-03-18 11:36:22 UTC
Hmmm...
it tryes to perform a "Find Next" because in gedit 0.9.x it worked in
that way.
Now that gedit has a non-modal find dialog it is no more needed.

Ok... I will fix it.
