GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 750622
Systray quivers and can't be opened when your cursor is at the very bottom edge of the screen (video included)
Last modified: 2015-06-09 12:21:15 UTC
Created attachment 304842 [details] bug demonstration video The new systray can be opened by pressure or a click, if you move your cursor over the opening arrow area. However, if your cursor touches the bottom of the screen, so you're sliding across the bottom edge to the bottom left corner, the systray opener starts to quiver and slides back and forth in very fast. You have to put the cursor back and try again (this time not touching the bottom edge), or you need to apply _strong_ pressure to make it open. It's hard to explain, but very easy to see and reproduce. Please watch the attached video. In the beginning I open it with cursor in the middle of the tray, and then I try to open it with the cursor at the bottom screen edge (it gets hidden on the video, but on my screen I still see a one pixel pointer). Since sliding across the bottom screen edge is how I usually reach the corners, I usually need to try several times before I manage to open the systray. Which is not a pleasant experience. gnome-shell-3.16.2-1.fc22.x86_64
