Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I keep selecting remember my login to my NAS forever, yet every time I
  return to the screen after shutting down my PC it ask me to retype the
  log in details and password.

  My conclusion would be that the remember forever feature does not
  work... it only remembers for the duration of the current session.
  Once I shutdown or reboot the login details vanish and I have to enter
  them all again.

  Hope this helps improve the product.  I can access the NAS by clicking
  on the NAS icon or going through the windows network icons but the
  results are the same both ways.

Thanks for the bug report. I'm sorry for making these question more than 2 years later.

Is the password still forgotten after logout?

If so, once again, open the NAS, type password selecting "remember forever". Then open the "Passwords and Keys" ('seahorse') application and search for the NAS password there. Is it there? Does it say it will be forgotten at the end of the session?

It's alright, thanks for replying, Edward. It's unfortunate such a well written bug report fell through the cracks.

I tested it on my system and can't reproduce it. So I'm closing for now.
