GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 748750
wishlist – WiFi network popup should trigger a scan
Last modified: 2015-06-19 09:45:12 UTC
Situation: I need to use a different connection, so I enable "WiFi hotstpot" mode on my phone, and want to immediately connect to it. However the phone won't show up in gnome-shell's WiFi network popup until the next time NetworkManager scans for networks. Would be nice if gnome-shell asked it to do so immediately, instead of making me manually run a scan command. gnome-shell 3.16.x
