Description Robert Schroll 2015-04-24 17:01:34 UTC
Right now, we expand all quotes when we're in find mode (either from the find bar or in the search folder). This ensures that we see each match when we step through them with the find bar.

But the text in quotes typically appears elsewhere in the conversation, so matches there are redundant. We should consider leaving quotes in the standard mode when we switch to find mode.

Relatedly, we may want to avoid matches inside quotes, or only find them when we find no matches outside quotes. I'm not sure how easy this would be do to with the built-in find mechanism we're using.

This was fixed back with the port to the GTK based conversation viewer.
