GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 747943
Maximized Window is Sized Incorrectly on Wayland
Last modified: 2015-04-17 18:55:54 UTC
Created attachment 301675 [details] Normal Maximized Window Showing Blank Area at Bottom and Right I am on Arch, using GNOME 3.16.1. My screen resolution is 1366x768. When gnome-terminal is maximized under Wayland, it leaves blank space around the bottom and right hand side of the screen. On X, it fills the entire screen, as expected. This is likely related to bug 745376. In addition, if the window is maximized and then a second tab is opened, causing the tab bar to become shown, the window will become taller than the sceen, hiding parts of it. If the window is unmaximized and then remaximized, it will fit on the screen again, but closing the second tab causes the window to shrink. I'll attach screenshots of all of these cases.
