Whenever I fire up a steam game of any sort, I have to change to click-to-focus.  If I leave it in sloppy-focus mode, my clicks go straight through the full-screen window to the desktop or the regular window below.

Can confirm this as a bug on Fedora 22. In addition to steam, you can use vinagre as an easy reproducer.
