According to "../test/t6516-graph.pl  --subtests ods", the newly
added ring plot comes back with X/Y axis added.  Ring plots, like pie
plots, are not supposed to have axes.

This problem has been fixed in the unstable development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain that newer version.
