Bug example

When adding an asset to a playing GES timeline the video and audio output freeze for 1/10 of a second, annoyingly. The call to add_asset returns immediately, so the hiccup doesn't seem to be coming from my app's main thread. The attached Python code demonstrates the bug.

Please try again with latest GES/NLE this works now.
Comment 2 Tim-Philipp Müller 2016-05-22 18:22:00 UTC
Can reproduce the audio glitchiness with git master. Happens regularly as far as I can tell, might even be in 5-second intervals...

To me the bug is not about glitchiness, but hanging, or am I missing something?
Comment 4 Tim-Philipp Müller 2016-05-22 22:07:26 UTC
I think it might just have been a poor choice of words in the title, the first comment talks about hanging for 1/10 of a second, which is pretty much glitchiness, right?
Comment 5 Thibault Saunier 2018-05-13 13:42:27 UTC
Still happening indeed.
