GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 747010
Dash icons are too small when many items in dash
Last modified: 2015-03-30 12:26:02 UTC
When you have many apps running/pinned (11 apps in my case, not sure if it's fixed or depends on screen resolution) in the dash their icons become unjustifiably small despite there being enough vertical space available to fit them all.

Hmm, I don't think I see anything really "unjustifiably small" here but I'm not sure towards who the size would have to "justified" exactly. :) What was the behavior that you expected? Let the vertical size of the dash grow more? Decrease the size of the icons less than currently? That might require way more file sizes for each icon, I *assume*, and does not sound feasible (as long as this isn't all SVG land).
I mean it could put a few more icons into that space, maybe 2 or 3, increasing the height of the dash without making them smaller.
