GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 746954
No simple way to get out of fullscreen via touch
Last modified: 2015-07-10 14:30:26 UTC
I watched an episode of a tv-series on the Yoga 3 Pro the the other day. Since it was more comfortable that way, I flipped the keyboard over so it ended up in tablet-mode and made the video fullscreen. However, it seems that once you're in this mode, there is no simple way to bring up the controls to pause the video or even to exit full screen mode.
Yes, there is. Just tap the screen.
Tapping works, but requires that I tap exactly where the pause/play button was before they became hidden. Tapping where the seeker was results in jumping to that location. Tapping anywhere else does not work. Is this the intended behaviour, or could something be broken with my setup?
Sigh, it broken between 3.14 and 3.16 even though I didn't change anything in that department.
This should work after fixes to totem (in 3.16.2) and newer versions of clutter. It should also be in Fedora 22 updates by now.
