Description Milan Crha 2015-03-25 13:50:43 UTC
I chose to install "0 A.D." game, it was on the main screen and it said it's only 3.5MB, which would be wonderful, especially with such a nice graphic. My internet connection is not the best, but it is able to download 3.5MB in few seconds. What I see in the UI is only a spinner (which does not spin in F22, but spins in F21) and that's all. I've absolutely no idea whether it does anything and how long it'll take/how much data is left to be downloaded (can I turn off the computer and start tomorrow or rather wait 5 minutes and everything will be downloaded?). Really hard to say.

This installing also breaks other application viewing, which isn't good, especially when I cannot queue multiple applications to be installed at once. This "single-task mode" doesn't fit modern times, from my point of view.

I think this report is covered by two different bugs:

* Need to have actual progress indication when installing, bug #711371
* Size of dependencies not counted in size calculation, bug #734645

I will arbitrarily mark this bug a duplicate of the later, since it also mentions 0 A.D.
