Description Markus Koschany 2015-03-19 16:45:44 UTC
Hi,

the current desktop icon, atomix-icon.png, has only a resolution of 32x32 pixel which makes the icon look blurred. A resolution of at least 64x64 pixel would be preferrable. As an alternative you could use atomix-logo.png and trim the icon, so that all sides are equal. In addition the icon should be installed to /usr/share/icons/hicolor/$resolution/apps.

Thanks for reporting.
I have recreated the atomix-icon (or something similar) in inkscape, added to the repository, copied it to /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps, so the icon shown should not be blurry anymore.

This problem has been fixed in the unstable development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain that newer version.
