Description Jordi Mas 2015-03-18 07:21:46 UTC
Hello,

Currently in the gnome-gimp release set:

https://l10n.gnome.org/releases/gnome-gimp/

You can only see the stable branch (gimp-2-8).

It will be very useful for us translators to also see the status (may be in another release set) of master.

This will be more aligned with the rest of release set, where you can see master and stable, and it will allow us to prepare better for new versions.

Will be this possible?

Jordi,

I think that this was done on purpose, and that GIMP maintainers didn't want translators wasting time on translating unstable stuff.
But this should rather be discussed on the gnome-i18n mailing list, with the GIMP maintainer in copy (mitch at gimp dot org ).
And sorry for not answering sooner!

Hm... all I ever knew about was this page: https://l10n.gnome.org/module/gimp/ - and master was listed there for ages.

What exactly is the meaning of "releases" and gnome-gimp" in "/releases/gnome-gimp/"?
Comment 3 Claude Paroz 2015-05-19 08:14:28 UTC
Releases are a way of grouping some related modules and/or branches together in a logical view. "gnome-gimp" is simply an identifier.

Michael Natterer answered on the mailing list (https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2015-May/msg00030.html), so I'll do the requested change ASAP.
