In its list of applications currently playing sound, Control Center displays Totem with a hicolor icon even when the HighContrast theme is used. After discussion[1], looks like it’s Totem’s work to export the good icon.

It doesn't have a HighContrast icon.

It does. Well, in the Shell, “Vidéos” is displayed with an black & white icon, that is not looking as a symbolic one. This icon should be used.
