You'll find attached a .xac file and a MT940 file.

Both are derived from real data by deleting out stuff.

They exhibit the same problem as the original data, namely, that when you try to import the MT940 file, you correctly can see the transaction when importing it, but it doesn't get actually imported into Gnucash.

I wondered whether I should set importance to "major" since this problem makes the balance within Gnucash diverge from the actual, real one on the account, which is a major problem for me.

I can't reproduce the problem with the provided data myself either any more. Sigh. Closing the bug report. Hopefully I'll find a way to provide data that display my problems here in the future.
