GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 746144
Responsive Web Design
Last modified: 2018-07-30 10:43:01 UTC
I have received an alert, from the Google Webmaster Tools, saying that the pages generated by Doxygen do not follow Responsive Web Design: https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/layouts/rwd-fundamentals/ The alert was about the web site http://doc.cgal.org/ The alert I received said "These pages will not be considered as mobile-friendly ( adapted to mobile ) in the Google search, and will be posted and classified accordingly to smartphone users ." What can we do? Is there other CSS style sheets that can be served to mobile devices? Here is the upstream bug ticket, in the CGAL projec: https://github.com/CGAL/cgal/issues/16
Note that I did test and optimize the output (including the tree view) for the ipad. I don't own an Android device so I can't test that myself.
As discussed in https://github.com/doxygen/doxygen/pull/734 , Doxygen has moved its issue tracking to https://github.com/doxygen/doxygen/issues All Doxygen tickets in GNOME Bugzilla have been migrated to Github. You can subscribe and participate in the new ticket in Github. You can find the corresponding Github ticket by searching for its Bugzilla ID (number) in Github. Hence I am closing this GNOME Bugzilla ticket. Please use the corresponding ticket in Github instead. Thanks a lot!
