GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 746130
go to line option kills the X11 selection buffer.
Last modified: 2015-03-14 11:31:55 UTC
I'm using gedit 3.14.0-3 and GNOME 3.14 on Debian jessie. When I choose the go to line option, gedit kills the X11 selection buffer (replacing it with "1"), preventing me from using middle-click to paste the line number I had just selected. gedit should not touch the X11 selection buffer except through user-driven selection events.
Yes, I agree. But it's a general GTK+ problem. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 333514 ***
