Description Scott Dowdle 2015-03-04 21:26:13 UTC
Running GNOME 3 3.15.90 on Fedora 22 (pre) Alpha. I added the terminal as a favorite on the doc and want to put it at the top. In the past I could left-click/drag and then drop to a new position and it would reorder... giving a nice visual indicator where it would land before dropping. With this build I can pick up an icon and move it around but dropping it doesn't do anything and there are no visual indicators as to the landing spot.

So, so far as I can tell, there is no way to reorder icons on the dock. Is this a bug or an intentional change in functionality?

As mentioned in reply to your comment in the other bug, it is expected to work as before (and does here).
Does the right-click menu of the launchers contain add/remove favorite items? Do you see the issue with all launchers or just the terminal in particular?

Yes, the right-click menu shows up. None of the icons allow for DND reorder so it isn't just the terminal.

I plan on making a short screencast video showing the behavior but that will have to wait for an hour or two.

Nevermind, I know what the problem is - it's fixed in 3.15.91, so if you're very impatient, you can grab the Fedora build from http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=618035.
