Description Olav Vitters 2015-03-03 12:29:29 UTC
Various bugs within GNOME Bugzilla are unreadable due to Perl bugs regarding utf-8 handling. The Perl from RHEL7 should have all of those fixed.

It would be nice to have a RHEL7 test instance.

Be warned: RHEL7 has Apache 2.4 and the deny/accept syntax is different. This may cause some problems! Upstream is finalizing Bugzilla 5.0, it would be nice for GNOME Bugzilla to:
1. Test instance to RHEL7
2. Production to RHEL7
3. Eventually: Test instance to Bugzilla 5.0
4. Even further away: Production to Bugzilla 5.0

Please create the VM :-D
Comment 2 Andrea Veri 2016-08-24 07:22:00 UTC
The bugzilla-test VM was created way back in 'Thu Apr 23 15:17:42 2015' and is based on RHEL 7. That instance currently runs the very latest BZ release and is used as a staging host before changes are then deployed into production.
Comment 3 Andrea Veri 2018-02-20 11:04:39 UTC
The bugzilla-test instance became the production instance due to the need of moving all VMs off from clutter to other hypervisors as clutter is EOL. Marking this as resolved as BZ now runs on RHEL 7.
