Description erusan 2015-03-01 04:26:51 UTC
Certain pages I visit regularly trigger Epiphany's certificate warning page. The "Load Anyway" button is nice in that it only requires one click. However, there is no way to store exceptions for these pages, meaning I have to click that button every time I load those websites.

If I'm visiting a web page regularly and want to store an exception, forcing me to click a button to do so every time is fruitless. I do not need Epiphany to protect me from myself in such situations. A way to store exceptions permanently would be useful.

Please provide version information by setting the Version field.

I agree. Ideally we would pin the server's public key, so that you get a new warning if the public key changes.

We should first fix bug #744063 before changing anything here.

As a separate issue, if any of those sites do not trigger a certificate warning in Firefox and you're willing to share, please file another bug!

Here are some thoughts on the implementation of this: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/epiphany-list/2015-February/msg00011.html
