GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 744813
Home folder on desktop not capitalized like other desktop icons (e.g., "Trash")
Last modified: 2015-02-28 20:27:24 UTC
Created attachment 297295 [details] [review] Patch to change "home-icon-name" from empty string to "Home". In GNOME Classic mode or when the desktop icons are turned on using Tweak Tools (or some other method), the home folder on the desktop is labelled "home" while the other icons (e.g., "Trash") all start with a capital letter. It is a minor inconsistency, but modifying the "home-icon-name" setting in libnautilus-private/org.gnome.nautilus.gschema.xml.in makes it so it displays as "Home". I've attached a patch that makes that change.
Review of attachment 297295 [details] [review]: I don't know why it was not like that before. But sure, thanks for the fix!
Great, thanks. I don't have commit access, so is there anything I need to do to get this patch pushed to the repo, or do I just wait?
Pushed with some style fixes in the commit message.
