GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 744714
Character went missing from the app menu
Last modified: 2018-07-14 08:45:17 UTC
Created attachment 297100 [details] The 'a' in 'Terminal' is not there I noticed that the 'a' in 'Terminal' went missing from my application menu. I can't find any other application that is affected. Inspecting the label using looking glass says that the label is "Terminal". Nothing fishy in the session logs, either. I am running stock Fedora 21 with these versions: cairo-1.14.0-1.fc21.x86_64 clutter-1.20.0-1.fc21.x86_64 freetype-2.5.3-13.fc21.x86_64 gnome-shell-3.14.3-1.fc21.x86_64 mutter-3.14.3-1.fc21.x86_64
Now I saw a notification pop up with a missing 'a'.
...and the Graphics driver / configuration is...?
(In reply to André Klapper from comment #2) > ...and the Graphics driver / configuration is...? Intel, and the 'a' only went missing when the typeface was bold. I haven't hit this again.
