Description André Klapper 2015-02-05 02:11:03 UTC
See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=adwaita-icon-theme - Jimmac is set as default assignee.

Nowadays' Bugzilla product guidelines at https://wiki.gnome.org/BugzillaMaintainers/CreatingNewProducts (the adwaita-icon-theme product predates those guidelines) recommends that components should have a generic virtual assignee (adwaita-icon-theme-maint@gnome.bugs in this case); same for QA contact.

Folks (jimmac?) interested in following the project are supposed to add that virtual account to their "User Watching" list at the bottom of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email in order to receive notifications.

Advantage of that setup is that anybody interested in that project can subscribe to bug notifications without having to follow all the other Bugzilla activity of a (real human) assignee (jimmac in that case).

So I'd like to fix that for the open tickets in that product.

@jimmac: Fine with that? If yes, please add that account to your watchlist and I'll do the rest.

Thanks! I won't act on this until bug 744266 is sorted out (4.4 regression).
