Description aaron 2002-03-12 16:06:05 UTC
Package: nautilus (nautilus2-1.1.8.0.200203102323-snap.ximian.1)
Severity: normal
Version: 1.1.8
Synopsis: Stack Trace: Desktop Crashes when Emacs creates save files on my desktop
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Desktop
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (1.112.1)

Description:
Nautilus spontaneously crashed while I was working in Emacs.

Here is what I think is the cause:

I use my home directory as my desktop. If I work in Emacs on a file
there, it will litter my homedir (and thus my desktop) with save files.
This is normal and expected, but Nautilus doesn't like it when things
change while it isn't looking.

This happens every five or ten minutes during normal usage of Emacs
while running nautilus2 snapshots as a desktop.

Unknown version 1.1.x in product nautilus. Setting version to the default, "unspecified".
Reassigning to the default owner of the component, nautilus-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.

Hm. adding keyword and setting version.
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2002-03-12 22:53:21 UTC
Dup of bug 74120. Glad I'm not insane.
