Description Philip Withnall 2015-01-26 15:27:52 UTC
While ideally GLib would be completely valgrind-clean, the effort for implementing that is huge, and it will take a long time (bug #627423, bug #680832).

In the meantime, it would be useful if GLib shipped a canonical Valgrind suppression file, so that people don’t keep writing their own.

This is basically a dup of bug 666114, which was closed as a dup of 627423 back when it looked like 627423 was actually going to go somewhere. That bug already has a (slightly-out-of-date) suppressions file, with all the associated build/install rules as well, so if we're going to do this you should probably just reopen that bug.

Whoops, sorry. Missed that in my dupe check.
