Description Pradeep KM 2002-03-12 06:28:10 UTC
The Edit copy option is not working.

Steps to reproduce :
1.Input a few numbers.
2.Select 'Edit:Copy'.
3.Open a new terminal and try to paste the contents.

Assuming this is the correct file, the problem is here:
 http://cvs.gnome.org/lxr/source/gnome-utils/gcalc/gcalc.c#73

An explicit Copy operation should set the CLIPBOARD selection.
Ideally this would also be PRIMARY at that instance, but at least
the GNOME 1.x gcalc did not have a selectable output.

Fixed
Comment 3 Kevin Vandersloot 2002-03-22 00:29:11 UTC
Removing GNOME2 keyword
Comment 4 Yogeesh 2002-05-17 12:00:42 UTC
since this bug is not exists in latest 1.104.0, this can bug be closed
Comment 5 Luis Villa 2002-05-17 12:44:05 UTC
Yogeesh: it should not be closed, since it still exists in the 1.4
version and some people may want to fix that at some point. Note that
the GNOME2.0 keyword has been removed- if wipro is tracking bugs that
have had the GNOME2.0 keyword removed, that's a bad habit and should
be stopped :)
Comment 6 Glynn Foster 2002-06-26 12:18:13 UTC
Kjartan, this one needs to be backported it seems.
Comment 7 John Fleck 2003-02-09 01:23:35 UTC
Closing all the old 1.4 bugs, since we won't be releasing again on that branch.
If I've closed something that's relevant here, please reopen and change to
2.whatever.
