Description Rui Matos 2015-01-19 18:49:08 UTC
As mentioned in bug 743194:

We might need to re-work the UI to expose the
disabled-on-external-mouse value for touchpads. Basically it means that the
touchpad is enabled/disabled automagically depending on whether we find an
external mouse attached.

One option is to just ignore that possibility and keep the current UI.

put check buttons in one row

Also "Disable while typing" check button was removed in the mentioned bug, because it is now implemented in libinput and it's always on. I think this also needs UI changes, because there is empty space after the button. I think it would be best to put all check buttons in one row...

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
