Description shawfreeman1987 2015-01-16 06:42:32 UTC
System language: Chinese.
I have changed fonts which supports Chinese in Menu-Edit-Style Sheet. But after I generate reports, the font is still missing. Every place now is blank where should display text properly.

My window's system language is Korean and I have same problem with GnuCash 2.6.*. (I have never experienced in 2.4.*)

A few days ago, I found that Korean font families in MS Windows can be classified into three groups.

Some Korean font families are not displayed even in the preview area of the GnuCash's font-selection-dialog.

Other Korean font families are well displayed in the preview of the dialog, but most of them have problems (boxes, blanks instead of Korean characters, or overlapped text) in reports.

Only few of them can be displayed correctly in the GnuCash reports.
(I got only 8 from 28 Korean font families I tested.
Four from the default fonts of MS Windows 10, one from MS Word, and three from free public fonts)

Even if GnuCash generates a broken report, an html version of the report is created in C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Temp. Whenever I opened it with a web browser, all Korean characters in it were displayed perfectly. So I guess that this error is caused by the webkit configuration.

However, I recommend to try all the Chinese (or Japanese) fonts using 'Select GnuCash Theme' utility as a workaround.
