Description Lasse Schuirmann 2015-01-07 17:46:24 UTC
This bug shall hold discussions about the redesign of the Stopwatch component.

The requirements for this component are currently developed here: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Clocks/StopwatchRedesign

Some questions to start:

a) Do we want multiple stopwatches? Is there a good usecase?
b) Do we want to give the user a possibility to save his time measurement somehow?
and finally concluding:
c) Do we even need to change something on this component?
Comment 1 Paolo Borelli 2015-01-07 18:10:06 UTC
I think this component is in good shape and iterating the design is not a high prio.

I do not think having > 1 stopwatch makes sense.

I think there are two valid complaints/requests that we may want to address:

1) Make the animation more subtle
2) Add a way to export/share the measures (note that I explicitly did not use the word "save")

A redesign happened.
