Description J.B. Nicholson 2015-01-04 23:47:07 UTC
I'm using GNU/Linux but I think you'll find this same issue on any OS.

I expect GUI programs to store the size, location, and configuration of their windows, panes, etc. so when I start up a program the program acts as if I'm continuing an ongoing session. EasyTAG 2.3.3 sets the sizable panes at the same size on every startup, making it so I have to reposition the pane borders on every startup.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Launch EasyTAG. Note where the directory and Common/Images side panes are.
2. Reposition the side pane borders and note where you repositioned them.
3. Exit EasyTAG in the ordinary way.
4. Launch EasyTAG again. Note how the side panes are in the same place as they were in step 1, not where you positioned them in step 2.

If possible, I suggest recording the side pane location as a percentage of window width (modulo any maximum/minimum size requirements) so restoration can work almost regardless of screen resolution changes.

Sorry, I didn't realize this is essentially a duplicate.
