In contrast to US tax quaters the tax quaters in Germany are real quaters. This seems due to copy and paste. The current situation is rather surprising to users.

I will provide a patch in github.

Considering this is a bug and not an enhancement request I have applied the patch to maint instead of master.

Your fix will appear in the next gnucash release (2.6.6).
