Description Lasse Schuirmann 2015-01-04 10:31:18 UTC
When opening the language preferences I get a dialog over a dialog over the application. This is rather ugly IMO.

Zeeshan did a few things in Boxes in cooperation with the design team to avoid those things. The usual solution was to have the second dialog not as a dialog but slide the other content away and slide the dialog content in with a back button on top left.

Makes sense.

We can probably even reuse the top header bar for the back button (on the right-side of the separator).
Comment 2 Lasse Schuirmann 2015-01-04 10:40:33 UTC
I can also imagine sliding the language chooser the the smallest possible width that fits all language names and provide the settings in a third column. Not sure if its the best thing to do though but it might save back-clicks which is generally not a bad thing.

This was implemented by Dimitris and is in git master.
