When the password is reset it is possible to specify passwords which cause failure at login although they are accepted in the password reset form, e.g. 

    cy6HoLG8?%*|Mvh~Q4P/@{l&*

and 

    kDdbQ9OcQuDGMuoi1fWlxlFQG

. Entering a password with 10 characters (lower and upper case letter and digits only) works well.
