Description simon 2014-12-27 15:03:09 UTC
How to reproduce:

Configure static adress+gateway for a wired (maybe also wifi?) connection.
Then switch to automatic(dhcp) without deleting the values.

Expected behaviour:

use gateway defined by dhcp server

Actual behaviour:

Invisible previous configuration is used as a gateway.

I concur with this users findings. I have experienced the same problem Debian Sid/Jessie.

which client are you using? If it's gnome-control-center, it sounds like a duplicate of bug 734337.

I am using the "sudo NetworkManager" command from the cmd line. It does look like a duplicate though.

`sudo NetworkManager` starts the code deamon. The question is, which client was used so that behavior in question appears.

Common clients are nm-applet/nm-connection-editor, plasma-nm (KDE widget), gnome-control-center (Gnome3), nmtui, nmcli, ...
