GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 74181
Crashes after setting desktop background and during startup
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-terminal Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: Crashes after setting desktop background and during startup Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal Bugzilla-Component: general Description: Hi! I did the following. Set the background in enlightenment. Then, in gnomecc set the default background to not use GNOME to set background. Open up gnome-terminal Configure it to be transparent, with shaded background Up to this point, things were working fine, and they did so for several days. Then, after using the same background for several days, I changed the background again using enlightenment. I moved the existing gnome-terminals to refresh the background, and this is when the crash occurred. This happened with all gnome-terminals I then tried to create new gnome terminals, and they all crashed on startup. I hope that this helps. -Edgar Debugging Information: (no debugging symbols found)...0x4061d669 in __wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
