Description Ben High 2014-12-14 06:41:49 UTC
If you click the close button while a document has unsaved changes, you will be prompted to save the document (either as a new file or overwriting the old file of the same name).

Clicking "Close Without Saving" will immediately quit the application peacefully. However, clicking "Save As" or "Save" (depending upon the context of the file in question), will allow the user to save their file. The application should then quit, but it instead does not, and the user will have to click the close button once more.

To reproduce:

1) Open, or make anew, a text document, and edit text.
2) Click the "close" button in GNOME.
3) When prompted, click either "Save As" or "Save". If the former, specify a location to save the file.

Gedit will save your file, but not close the application.

Gedit should save the file, and then close.

Exact version number: Gedit 3.14.1.1
OS: Fedora Linux 21
Exact GNOME version number: GNOME 3.14.2
