Older entries in "Scheduled transactions / Template transaction" appear to be "locked" as if the "Day threshold for Read-only transactions" applies to the template.

I don't think that this was intended. The templates are for _future_ transactions, and they in general need to be changeable.

Attempts to modify template transactions get this pop-up:
  Cannot modify or delete this transaction.
  The date of this transaction* is older than the "Read-Only Threshold" set for this book...

*The date in question is "Scheduled".

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
