I have EasyTag 2.2.2 running on Ubuntu 14.10. EasyTag 2.2.2. is the version offered in the Ubuntu repository. Previous to my upgrading to 14.10 (the usual six-monthly rebuild of Ubuntu), "all lowercase" worked fine.

Thanks for the bug report. I fixed the problem in the easytag-2.2 branch as commit 673013a878ee052f53d8dde4e751ebcf0e86878e. The fix will be in an upcoming 2.2.6 release, which will probably not be for another month or two.
