Description etwcn 2014-11-23 15:27:06 UTC
This is on the windows version. I tried all 2.x binaries available. They all fail.

If you have a file with special characters like german Umlauts (ä, ö , ü), EasyTag will not "see" these files. In the latest version, it just right out crashes. In the 2.2 and 2.1 versions, it seems to get the file names from scanning the directory, but then use the wrong encoding. It prints a message in the log window, that the file is "not available" or "cannot be found".

This bug makes EasyTag unusable on windows system. Please try to fix it! EasyTag was the best Tagger available. However in its current state (2.x branch) it is just unusable :/
