Description Will Hesson 2014-11-20 12:52:41 UTC
I would find it extremely helpful when searching through (using find) large files in gedit to be informed when I have reached the end of the file by including some kind of sound e.g. a beep or bing. I cannot find any such option in gedit so I'm requesting it here. I'm using ubuntu 12.04.

(In honesty I have no idea if this is really the right place to do this if whatever poor soul ends up reading this could tell me where to go if this is not the right place I'd be very grateful william.hesson@googlemail.com)

Is it related to the LaTeX plugin? There is a search and replace component in bugzilla.

I would close this bug as a duplicate of bug #720824. I prefer a visual information than a sound.

This is certainly not specific to the plugin.
