GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 740299
Background corrupted after wake from suspend
Last modified: 2014-11-18 09:39:50 UTC
Created attachment 290893 [details] example of background corruption I'm running Gnome 3.14.2-1 on a Arch x86_64 machine. I'm using nvidia proprietary driver (version 343.22-4) to manage my GPU, a gtx660. Sometimes, but not always, when i wake my computer from suspend, the background image is corrupted, and kinda looks like a random buffer. This happens maybe once in 4 wake from suspend. It can happen that the lock screen image is affected as well. AFAIK, there are no log indicating an issue (at least not in systemd journalctl). It also appears that I'm not the only one encountering this issue (an irc user from #gnome@freenode described the same thing) I can provide any information on my system that could help diagnose this issue.
