graph/plot AxisLine numeric label orientation not specifiable
Last modified: 2014-11-21 15:06:02 UTC
Created attachment 290779 [details] orientation of numeric tick labels is not specifiable for AxisLine Observed behavior: The baseline of numeric labels is always horizontal when an AxisLine is added to X-Axis1. Desired behavior (first choice): The AxisLine object should have a Text tab just like a full-fledged Axis would, allowing the orientation to be specified independently and directly. Desired behavior (second choice) The AxisLine object could perhaps have its orientation locked to the orientation of the parent X-Axis object. A graphic is attached that should let you see what I'm trying to do, and why. The X-Axis numerical labels are in black near the bottom, and have their baseline running vertically, as desired. Meanwhile the AxisLine labels are in black near the top. They really ought to be oriented with their baseline vertical, but there is AFAICT no way to accomplish this. I searched for similar bugs without finding anything. gnumeric version '1.12.1' datadir := '/usr/share/gnumeric/1.12.1' libdir := '/usr/lib/gnumeric/1.12.1' Linux asclepias 3.16.2+ #1 SMP Sun Sep 7 08:41:33 MST 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
