Description Marc Deslauriers 2014-11-10 15:53:38 UTC
When xchat-gnome starts up, it incorrectly scrolls all windows while loading scrollback.

Once it is started, it doesn't remember scroll positions when switching from one channel to the next.

patch v2

Here is a better patch that also fixes window scrolling when autojoining channels.

xchat-gnome is not under active development anymore.
Its codebase has been archived:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/xchat-gnome/commits/master

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather reactivate the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
You may want to switch to Hexchat (or another IRC client that suits you).
