Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
However, this application does not track its bugs in the GNOME Bugzilla. We kindly ask you to report the bug to the application authors:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=ModemManager

Plus, please provide more information. Try to gather at least ModemManager and NetworkManager debug logs, see:
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/ModemManager/Debugging/

This one should be relevant:
<warn> pppd timed out or didn't initialize our dbus module

But we'll really need debug logs, not just info logs... Please follow the steps here to get full debug logs:
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/ModemManager/Debugging/

And please reopen the bug in the ModemManager bugzilla here:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=ModemManager

Thanks!

Sorry, but according to this instruction, I do not understand where these debug logs to provide them.

Can`t collect process enough information to open a bug-report ((.

For Ubuntu, the steps would be the ones listed in the section "Generic steps to gather debug logs, when not using systemd".

Tried to debug, but I was not able to gather the necessary information. Here's a link to the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xn7IAqaYAyU&feature=youtu.be and created a bug report on freedesktop - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86658, but I'm afraid I did everything wrong, sorry ((.

For reference, this is now handled in here:
