GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 739533
Unable to rename last file in list because of "status" bar
Last modified: 2014-11-02 17:47:23 UTC
Created attachment 289842 [details] Unable to see what I'm typing The Nautilus "Status bar" (It's not properly a satus bar, but don't know how to call it) stating the name of selected file, makes it impossible to rename a file when the entry occupies the bottom of the window. Here attached you can find an image where if I try to rename the file "10. Elderly woman behind the counter in a small town.mp3" I'm not able to view what I'm typing! In this image to rename the file I have to scroll down but the scroll down workaround is not possible when the file is the last entry of the list.
Created attachment 289843 [details] Unable to see last entry! In other circumstances that damned status bar covers an entry and you'll never be able to understand that ther is another file there! In this example behind the status bar there is a file named "Pearl jam - Vs - Front.jpg". I'm not able even to select it with the mouse.
